Balanced Salt

If your curry has become too salty, place a raw peeled potato in it while it cools – it will absorb the extra salt.

Dry Lips

Apply coconut oil or olive oil or a combination of honey and rosewater on dry lips. Melt 2 tablespoon beeswax and 2 tablespoon coconut oil and whisk in the almond oil. Pour it in a glass jar and allow the mix to set. Use this mix on your lips twice a day. Alternately, apply mustard oil on navel while bathing and before going to sleep.

Hair Cocktail

For oily hair: use face powder. Put a little at the root of your hair before straying. If it is a serious problem, put the powder on heavily for 15 minutes, wash completely, condition slightly and style.

For instant shine: Beat two eggs mixed with milk and apply it on your hair. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse. You will notice the instant shine.

Removing facial hair

Excess hair on any body part can look unhygienic and embarrassing to a female. However, with increase in health issues, facial hair growth seems to be on rise amongst most of the females. Some resort to regular waxing, while some go in for laser treatment. We have home remedies as well to remove facial hair.

Mix 2 tbs of gram flour in one tbs of yogurt and lemon juice.
Add a pinch of turmeric and mix well
Ensure that it isn’t liquid pack
Apply, let it dry and wash off.

Yellow nails

Frequent applying of nail enamel, more often than not makes nails turn into yellow pale shade. Re-applying a darker shade of nail varnish to cover up won’t solve your problem. The best remedy is to rub lime on nails.  Alternately, dip your nails in warm water, and add 2 drops of olive oil and lavender oil.

Grapevine for Heart, grapes for skin

Grapes are considered to be best natural cleanser for all skin types. Split one or two big grapes, and rub it over face and neck. Keep it on for a while before rinsing it off with cold water. In addition to applying grapes, drinking grapes juice also does wonders for your skin.

Removing the smell of Onion and Garlic

Smell of Onion and Garlic can be removed from your hands by rubbing a mixture of salt and water. Take one tablespoon of water and mix it in water for few seconds, wash with cool water after 5 minutes of applying.
